1. Overview

As the high-voltage motor starting equipment in the system, 6kV/10kV GKGR series mining general high-voltage soft starter cabinet uses high-quality series-connected thyristors, stepless control of output voltage for smooth motor starting and stopping. It has fault protection functions such as overload, phase loss, starting peak overcurrent, etc., which can effectively avoid the motor starting current is too large to bring harmful impact on the power grid, can be limited in the capacity of the power grid to normal use of high-power motors and to extend their service life.

The soft start cabinet is a metal non-metallic mine mining product, the safety mark is “kA”.

The main switch of soft starter cabinet is vacuum contactor.

The soft starter cabinet is of AC metal enclosed structure.

Soft starter cabinet can realize power inlet and feeder function.

Power supply: three-phase AC 10kV(+ 10%-15%) 50HZ;

Applicable motor: three-phase asynchronous motor (squirrel cage type), synchronous motor, etc;

Environmental conditions: altitude not exceeding 1000 meters, need to reduce the conditions to use when exceeding;

Non-coal mines; limited to use in chambers without dripping and dust immersion; should be installed horizontally (inclination not exceeding 5 °) and well ventilated;

3. Working Principle

GKGR mining general high-voltage soft starter cabinet, is actually connected in series between the three-phase AC phase voltage and three-phase AC asynchronous (and synchronous) motor input. By adjusting the delay conduction angle of three independent anti-parallel thyristor valve components at the same time, the AC input voltage amplitude of the three-phase asynchronous motor (and synchronous) is changed, thus changing the effective value of the three-phase input AC current to achieve the purpose of constant current starting or starting or stopping according to a certain slope change curve.

When the start is completed, the three-phase bypass contactor J is automatically closed, and the motor is put into power grid operation (see Figure 1). The input/output voltage waveform and the waveform of the current change (see Figure 2).
