5. Design Structure

A perfect power regulator mainly consists of the following components: high-voltage thyristor valve group, thyristor protection components, fiber optic trigger components, system control components, signal acquisition and display components.

◆ High-voltage thyristor valve group: each phase consists of two sets of thyristors connected in series in anti-parallel, in the case of inlet voltage 3-10kV, each series group consists of 3-5 thyristors with the same parameters.

◆ Thyristor protection components: including over-voltage absorption network composed of RC network, static equalization unit, to reduce the dv/dt impact voltage, while the RC network also plays the role of dynamic equalization.

◆ Fiber optic trigger components: provide more than 2A strong pulse trigger pulse, to ensure the dynamic equalization of series-connected SCRs, to ensure the consistency and reliability of the trigger, use fiber optics, high-voltage cables for high-voltage and low-voltage isolation.

◆System control components: power control through the microprocessor.

◆ Signal Acquisition and Display Components: The voltage and current signals of the main circuit are acquired and calculated through voltage transformers and current transformers, and the information of voltage, current, power and power consumption are displayed on the LCD liquid crystal screen.

It can communicate with the upper computer through RS-485 interface.

 

6. Technical Characteristics

◆ Simple to install and use: only the inlet and outlet power lines and communication lines need to be connected during installation, and low voltage is allowed to be used for electrical debugging of the whole system before high-voltage operation.

◆ Adopting advanced fiber optic transmission technology to achieve isolation between the triggering of high-voltage thyristor and mortgage control circuit.

◆ Installation of five-proof protection devices to prevent accidental entry into the high-voltage device under electrified conditions.

◆ Equipped with RS-485 communication interface and standard Modbus communication protocol, it can communicate with upper computer or centralized control center.

◆ All circuit boards have been tested by EMC electromagnetic compatibility, high and low temperature aging, mechanical vibration, etc., and have strong anti-interference ability.
